About Myself
I’ve always loved doing creative work. I began acting in theatre camp at age 6 with my friends, and we all continued it up in to high school. In 5th grade I began participating in Destination Imagination, a creative program where teams of students do large main challenges and smaller “instant” challenges that are both mechanical and performance based. No adults are allowed to help, and luckily for us our parents honored those rules. This led to writing a 5 minute Dr Jekyl and Mister Hyde music video to Thriller one year, creating a 74 gram newspaper-and-glue brace that held over 900 lbs another, that kind of stuff. It ended up really preparing me for working on teams with my peers and has been a huge asset so far. I’ve found I’m really optimistic and like to keep a good energy, but don’t confuse that for being naive or too attached to ideas. I am always revising, editing, and iterating my work until everyone is satisfied.
Along with Game Design I love acting and consuming fiction, primarily manga. Acting is something I have always loved and is one of the couple things I can confidently say I have a knack for. Being able to do that along-side game design would be the dream. I also love math! It’s always been my favorite and strongest academic subject. I believe having some experience in as many areas of design as you can lends itself to great team cohesion, communication, and makes the whole process a lot more smooth (and fun)!
